Jaman Ka Pair, A Afsaana By Gulzar

Gulzar (Urdu: گُلزار), is an Indian poet, lyricist and director. He primarily writes in Hindi-Urdu, but has also written in Punjabi, several dialects of Hindi such as Braj Bhasha, Khadiboli, Haryanvi and Marwari.

His field of expertise is poetry but he is well known in sort stories as well and his short stories have a huge and wide readership. Today I have come across one of his short story and thought that it would be better to share with you that.

The story reveals the culture and lifestyle of Punjab before partition, so I would recommend the story for those who want to know about Punjabi culture in 30s and 40s.
