CHAND C DULHAN, by Maha Malik, is beautiful novel dealing with a burning issue of our society. This is a story of a widow lady, her son and her daughter in law.

The story deals with female possessive psychology about someone they love. They are not ready to share love at any cost.

Ammad is an orphan boy. He is very well mannered and respectful to his mother who broght him up after his father’s departure. His mother became widow when he was only 3 years old and she was about 24 years.

She gave all of her attention to his education and cared him a lot. She did not marry again so that she could give attention to her son.

Later Ammad became an engineer and the hard days of their life just over. Now she, alon with, her son started a new life. She resigned from her job as her son was enough to earn money.

She got her son married and in the beginning she was very happy with her son and daughter in law. Later the traditional rootless SAS BAHO quarrels began. She did not agree to share the love of her son with anyone; even his wife and that attitude ruined the life of all.
