  1. I want to remove some misconception about this novel.

I have read on internet written by someone that there is a very big mistake in this novel according to Islam and that is " Islam does not allow a pregnant women to get married until she gives birth to the child." and in this novel Asfand marries Momal when she is pregnant.

Let me clear that this rule is not as it was mention by that person in internet. Rather According to Islam " If the women is pregnant as the result of Zina the NASAB of that baby could not be linked with a person than it is permissible to get marry with her but her husband will not have intercourse with her.

Ibn-e-Modood Al Mousili (ابن مودود الموصلي) writes in his book الاختيار لتعليل المختار that: "ولا يتزوج حاملاً من غيره إلا الزانية" {p:32 V:1) which means: one cannot marry pregnant women of any person except one that of by Zina."

The same thing is written in many other books of Fiqh like البحر الرائق.

Hope I have cleared the matter.
