PUR ASRAR CHEEKHAIN; a Fantastic Imran Aeries Urdu Novel by Ibn-e-Safi

PUR ASRAR CHEEKHAIN (Mysterious Screams), by Ibn-e-Safi, is a very suspenseful and thriller Urdu novel of the famous Imran Series.

How to solve a problem when a person comes alive after ten years of his murder? How sort out the situation when a girl claims a person to be her father who is in fact not her father?? How to come to a conclusion when a person tries to prove his identity but he is refused to be believed and is out of reach of his huge wealth? All these things can be found in this superb and interesting novel.

Nawab Hashim was considered to be killed ten years back and buried in a grave, but after ten years he comes back home and says he is alive and does not know about the person who was found dead in his bedroom. But his nephew Nawab Sajid, who inherited Hashim’s all wealth, does not accept him as his uncle. He says that he looks alike his uncle but in fact he is not his uncle.

Now it is Imran’s turn to solve the case and he gets the job done in a fabulous and amazing way. Ibn-e-Safi has maintained the suspense till the last page of the novel and one cannot say exactly how the climax should be.

  1. Dear Dr. Israr, assalm-o-alaikum
You have resumed postings after over one week. And have posted some very good entries. I went through Purasraar Cheekhen after a long time on the PDF format provided by you. It was a very good experience. You are worthy of praise for the same.

  2. Correction
The title should have been "Pur Asrar" and not Pur Israr". I think the mistake has creeped in unconsciously since Asrar means secrets and Israr means to insisit.

  3. @ Muslim Saleem,

Thanks for your comments and correction.
    1. I m student and was in my university so that I could not spare some time for postings. Now I m at home for weekend. And for coming some months I would not be able to post. Sorry for that hopefully you would understand my problem. I have many novels of Ibn-e-Safi and will post about them in future.

2.You are right about {Pur Asrar}. Actually, I had written deliberately Pur Israr as I did not give attention towards Asrar and Israr, although I knew the meanings of these words and difference between the. I will correct this.

    Thank you once again.

  4. @ Muslim Saleem>>> Sir, your comments are very encouraging for me.

I would like to add something to your comment regarding Israr and Asrar. You said Israr means insist.

Please note that Israr with seen (س)does not mean insist. Rather it means "to make secret" or "to hide" we can say in Urdu CHUPANA.

The word Israr with Saad (ص) means Insist.

Hope you will think over it.

  5. My dear Dr Israr
You had written israr in English. That's why I took the meaning of insistence since Israr with seen and not suad is generally used in Urdu. Furthermore, the suggestion was a friendly one and of pure academic nature. Hope you would not have mind it.
