An Orticle on Faiz With Some Rare Pictures

Faiz Ahmed Faiz (1911–1984) (Urdu: فیض احمد فیض) was a renowned Pakistani poet, and one of the most famous poets of the Urdu language. He was a member of the Anjuman Tarraqi Pasand Mussanafin-e-Hind (All India Progressive Writers' Movement) and an avowed Marxist. In 1962, he was awarded the Lenin Peace Prize by the Soviet Union.

On 13th February, 2011 the 100th birth day of Faiz Ahmad Faiz was celebrated across the globe. As Faiz was a Pakistani and his daughters and other many of his fans live in Pakistan, the country has taken a central status for the 100th birth day celebrations of this Marxist Urdu poet.

I have read an article in an Urdu daily Paper on Faiz which contained some very rare pictures of Faiz. I am going to share this article with you. Hope you will like it. Here you go!!
