Ab Aur Kuch Kehnay Ki Zaroorat Nahi; a Superb Urdu Short Story by Manto

Saadat Hassan Manto (Urdu: ‏‏سعادت حسن منٹو) (May 11, 1912 – January 18, 1955) was a short story writer of Kashmiri heritage. He is best known for his short stories , 'Bu' (Odour), 'Khol Do' (Open It), 'Thanda Gosht' (Cold Meat), and his magnum opus, Toba Tek Singh'.

When it comes to chronicling the collective madness that prevailed, during and after the Partition of India in 1947, no other writer comes close to the oeuvre of Saadat Hassan Manto.

  4. she was mian by sahab;s daughter.Though she was his daughter by blood but was not like him in deed. She was sensitive to amin pahalwan's sad story and thus managed get the final rites for his dead mother done.

She said she was his wife because by it she meant that just like a husband doesn't has to pay anything to his wife for any help or service, amin pahalwan wasn't required to repay the expenses incurred by mian sahab's daughter.

    A beautiful story indeed.
