Dhal Gya Hijr Ka Din (Urdu: ڈھل گیا ھجر کا دن) is beautiful and outstanding Urdu romantic novel written by Rukhsana Nigar Adnan which tell the story of a woman who is very patient and caring but does not take what she deserves.
Asma is youngest of all siblings and her mother gets her married with Mansoor, son of her childhood friend. Ishrat Bibi, mansoor's mother, had asked her hand for Mansoor from her mother and promised her to take care of her at any cost and consider her a real daughter, rather than daughter in law but practically she does not fulfill her promise.
Asma is very patient and waits for a better future but Mansoor also does not looks after her and does not give proper and due attention to her. She faces serious financial crises in her home but she does not ask help from her mother and brothers unlike her other two sisters who always demand from her mother.
Destiny, finally, smiles on her and after a long struggle she finds what she really deserves and the novel goes to a happy ending just like other novels of Rukhsana Nigar Adnan.
