Ek Makan Ka Sannata; a Marvelous Urdu Novel by Rukhsana Nigar Adnan

Ek Makan Ka Sannata (Urdu: اک مکان کا سنّاٹا) is a marvelous Urdu social novel written by Rukhsana Nigar Adnan which tells about some greedy behaviors of our society.

A proposal approaches to Aabidah's niece as Hameedah asks her hand for her son but Aabidah somehow manages to divert to proposal for her own daughter Sameenah. She tells rubbish about her sister's daughters and defames them and gets her own daughter married with that man.

Aabidah's sister is very worried about her five daughters and their marriage, which is the same and typical problem in Indo-Pak society. Later her elder daughter dies in very bad and shocking conditions, but her daughter Shameen struggles a lot and works hard for the betterment of her mother and sisters. After some years all of them get married with very suitable and good a families, which is very satisfactory for her.

On the other hand Aabidah's daughter becomes widow as her son in law dies leaving her daughter and four granddaughters. Now she is once again before Shameen asking help for her granddaughters. Shameen recalls her past and what her auntie did with them and thanks Allah Almighty for all the blessing He bestowed on her and her family.
