Lal Masjid- Operation Silence (Urdu: لال مسجد آپریشن سائلنس) (English: Red Mosque- Operation Silence) is a beautiful and interesting Urdu book written by Tariq Ismail Sagar (Urdu: طارق اسماعیل ساگر), the renowned Urdu fictions writer, novelist, short story writer, columnist and current affair specialist, who is better known for his political and and spy novels and books on intelligence agencies and networks such as RAW (Urdu: را) Jasus Kese Banta Hay (Urdu: جاسوس کیسے بنتا ہے) (English: How a Spy is Made) Khufia Agencviyun ki Dehshat Gardi (Urdu: خفیہ ایجنسیوں کی دہشت گردی) (English: The Terrorism of Secret Agencies) and others. 

The book is about the brutal and deadly operation silence, conducted by Pakistan Army in the following the orders of General Parvez Musharraf, the then President of Pakistan and military dictator, in which hundreds of innocent students including women and children were shamefully and mercilessly killed by Pakistan Army. The shameful operation took place in July, 2007 over a dispute between government of Pakistan and the administration of Jamia Hafsa and Lal Masjid
