Shaukat Thanvi was an essayist, columnist, novelist, short story writer, broadcaster, playwright, sketch-writer and poet but, in essence, he was a humorist and in almost all his writings an unmistakable streak of humour can always be traced.
He has written many books and articles. He is most known for his humorous writing style which can be imagined by his writings.
I have come across a very humorous article by him. The article is about the young generation of whom Allama Iqbal thinks “Shaheen Bachay” (the babies of Shaheen).
Shaukat tried to show how much the young generation is fulfilling the expectations of Iqbal from them. Please post your comments after reading the article.
