Zamir Jafri (Urdu: ضمیر جعفری) (January 1, 1916 – May 16, 1999) was a Pakistani poet born in Jhelum. He became famous for his Urdu humorous poetry and also wrote humorous columns in the newspapers and periodicals.
He is not known to be one of the best humorous writers in Pakistan. He has a wide readership across the globe and his readership is going wider even after eleven years of his demise.
For the first time in Urdu Adab I am going to add a video, I have never done this before. So lets watch Zameer Jafri reciting his humorous poetry. I hope you will like it and it will at least bring some smile on your face.
