Hamain Kuch Khabar Nahi (Urdu: ھمیں کچھ خبر نہیں) is a beautiful Urdu social novel written by Rukhsana Adnan Nigar which illustrates women's psychology in our society. The story is rather food for thought and beautiful.
Fozia is a woman in a locality who is habitual to exaggerate issues and telling lies. Interestingly she swears whenever she tells a lie. She also faces some critical crises. Fire catches the shop owned and run by her husband and her children fall ill.
One day she swears and tells Sajida that Zarqa, a beautiful girl in the locality have run away from her home with a guy and she leaved the home. She says that she herself have seen them getting in the Rickshaw. The next day when Sajida goes to Zarqa's home she finds Fozia there telling that Sajida's husband Umair has a love affair with his widow cousin Naila [Al though Naila is Umair sister through suckling] and tells many other lies.
Now Sajida goes there and tell her not to swear and tell lies. She says that it is due to her false swearing and lies that her husband's business is ruined and her children are not getting well. The story is based on the Saying of Holy Prophet: "Whoever of you saw a wrong he should stop that by his hand, and by his tongue is he could not do that by hand, and consider it a wrong thing if he could not say about it, and that is the weakest point of Eiman (Faith)."
