Toota Hua Tara (The Broken Star) is a beautiful and outstanding Urdu novel written by Rukhsana Nigar Adnan. The novel tells a story of a calm less and unsatisfied boy hailing from a middle class family and his regrets of a blind revenge with an innocent girl. The boy is in conflicts of self realization and his complexes.
Hadi, belongs to a family in Lahore, loves with his Father, Grandfather and elder sister Seema, goes bad due to company of bad friends belonging to the elite class of the city. One day he sees a girl talking on mobile and he somehow notes her mobile number and calls him asking to make friendship with him. Aleezay, the girl, rudely rejects his request and he decides to take revenge of this rejection and shows her to his friends Aamir, Rizwan and Fahd and they kidnap her and rap her.
Later it comes that the girl is student of his sister and she brings her brother's proposal to Seema his sister unknowing about him. When he knows about Aleezay he decides to change himself.
