Belay Ka Siah Phool (Urdu: بیلے کا سیاہ پھول) is a beautiful, very interesting and superb Urdu romantic novel written by Aleem Ul Haq Haqqi, the well known Urdu social and romantic novelist who is better known for his best seller Urdu romantic novel Ishq Ka Ain. The novel tells a triangle of a love story which revolves between two guys and two girls, interestingly all are cousins.
Maimoona is a young girl lives with her old family maid Ana Bua (Auntie). She pretends to look older than her age that’s why she wears loose dress and use glasses to look older. Her parents passed away many years back and she decided not to get married.
Her cousin Akhtar loves her and he could not express his feelings for her but one day he dares and proposes her but she refuses his proposal. Later she realizes that she loves Sarmad, her other cousin who is much elder that her and he was in love with her elder sister Shahla. Shahla also was in love with him but her father refuses to give her hands to Sarmad until he does not prove himself a successful man. Sarmad leaves the house and later her father gets Shahla married with another guy and she dies after few years.
