Chehray Ka Qarz (English: The Debt of Face) (Urdu: چہرے کا قرض) is beautiful, very interesting, suspenseful and fun to read Urdu thriller novel written by Aleem Ul Haq Haqqi, the renowned Urdu social and romantic novelist who is best known for authoring his best seller Urdu romantic novel Ishq Ka Ain. The novel tells the adventurous story of a man who suddenly loses his real personality and appears in other personality losing one week from his life.
Zeeshan Anwar is a sad man who loses his wife and starts drinking. One night he sleeps at his home in Islamabad, Pakistan drunk but suddenly he opens his eyes and he finds himself in a strange but very luxurious and comfortable room (later he comes to know that he is an continental hotel in Oslo Norway) in a strange look. When he sees himself in mirror he cannot recognize himself and he looks at least ten year elder than he is.
He calls the room service and asks for breakfast and newspaper. He reads in news and when he reads the date he is shocked. He loses one week from his life about which he does not remember anything. He only finds an old scratch in his body otherwise he does recognize himself. The hotel management and documents in his room prove him to be Yaqoob Saeed.
What is behind all this conspiracy?? Who is Yaqoob Saeed and what does he wants from Zeeshan Anwar?? The novel is quite interesting. I hope you will enjoy reading it.
