On the Record (Urdu: آن دی ریکارڈ) (English: On the Record) is a beautiful and interesting Urdu novel written by Tariq Ismail Sagar (Urdu: طارق اسماعیل ساگر), the renowned Urdu fictions writer, novelist, short story writer, columnist and current affair specialist, who is better known for his political and and spy novels and books on intelligence agencies and networks such as RAW (Urdu: را) Jasus Kese Banta Hay (Urdu: جاسوس کیسے بنتا ہے) (English: How a Spy is Made) Khufia Agencviyun ki Dehshat Gardi (Urdu: خفیہ ایجنسیوں کی دہشت گردی) (English: The Terrorism of Secret Agencies) and others.

The book is collection of articles written by Tariq Ismail Sagar.

Fy Land; an Imran Series by Mazhar Kaleem

Imran Series is one of the best-selling Urdu spy novels series created by Pakistani writer Ibn-e-Safi. Ali Imran is the pivotal character, a comical secret agent who controls the Secret Service as X-2 but appears to to be a non serious citizen who as a free lancer works for the Secret Service. Except a handful of people, no one knows his status being the chief of the Service. The first book, Khaufnaak Imarat (The Terrifying Building), was published in October 1955. He has been writing these novels for the life time of Ibn-e-Safi and continuously produces Imran Series novels till date.

Habib Jalib

Habib Jalib (Urdu: حبیب جالب) (Real name: Habib Ahmad) (Urdu: حبیب احمد) was a Pakistani revolutionary Urdu poet, left-wing activist and politician who opposed martial law, authoritarianism and state oppression. 

Jalib was a Marxist-Leninist and aspired to the ideals of Communism. He was a member of the Communist Party of Pakistan; later when the Communist Party was banned and started working under the banner of National Awami Party (NAP), he joined the NAP. His views led to imprisonment. 

His poetry shows that, being a communist, he was pro Russia and China. He wrote many poems and Ghazal against USA and in many of his poems he even mentioned Ronald Reagan, the than president of USA, and showed his dislike to him.

Allama Iqbal

Sir Muhammad Iqbal (Urdu: محمد اقبال) born (November 9, 1877 – April 21, 1938) was a converted Muslim poet and philosopher born in Sialkot, British India (now in Pakistan), whose poetry in Urdu and Persian is considered to be among the greatest of the modern era, and whose vision of an independent state for the Muslims of British India was to inspire the creation of Pakistan. He is commonly referred to as Allama Iqbal (علامہ اقبال‎, Allama lit. Scholar).

Allama's Poetry has put a great effect on the Muslim generation in 20th century. Many pieces of his poetry are considered to be the masterpiece of the Urdu poetry treasury.

Tariq Ki Dua is a beautiful poem by Allama Iqbal in which he describes the pray of Tariq bin Ziyad, the great Muslim Commander who conquered Spain. Allama Syed Abul Hassan Ali Nadvi, the great Muslim scholar of 20th century and an expert of Iqbaliyat has written an article of the same poem. Here I am going to post the article. Ibn-e-Safi (also spelled as Ibne Safi) (Urdu: ابنِ صفی) was the pen name of Asrar Ahmad (Urdu: اسرار احمد), a best-selling and prolific fiction writer, novelist and poet of Urdu. He is known globally for his fabulous Urdu spy novels of Imran Series and Jasusi Dunya. 

His main works were the 125-book series Jasoosi Dunya (The Spy World) and the 120-book Imran Series, with a small canon of satirical works and poetry. His novels were characterized by a blend of mystery, adventure, suspense, violence, romance and comedy, achieving massive popularity across a broad readership in South Asia.

Iqbal Kay Ba'az Halat; an Article on Iqbal by Ghulam Bhik Nairang

Syed Ghulam Bhik Nairang (September 26, 1876 - October 16, 1952) (Urdu: سید غلام بھیك نیرنگ ), also known as Meer Nairang, was a distinguished lawyer, a poet and a prominent Indian Muslim leader. He held office with the All-India Muslim League, India, pre-partition (1947). He was close friends with Allama Muhammad Iqbal, a college-mate and fellow poet. His compilation of poetry - Kalaam-e-Nairang was published in 1980s from Karachi.

Ghulam Bhik Nairang was a close friend of Allama Iqbal and they both have worked a lot for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
