PEER-E-KAMIL ; an Interesting Book

I read the book PEER-E-KAMIL (پیرِ کامل) written by Umaira Ahmad, a well known Urdu writer. The book is, as I believe, the best work of Umaira Ahmad. It is a story of a ex Ahmadi girl Umama Hashim (امامه هاشم) whose aim is to be an Eye specialist and a boy Salar Sikandar who is an extraordinary guy having +150 IQ level.
It is a spiritual journey of a girl Umama Hashim when she converts to Islam from Ahmadism she gets a in trouble and starts a life full of problems and worries. When she announces her Islam before her family and refuses to get merry with her Ahmadi fiancée, her family gets angry against her decision and her father tells her that he will make her merry with Waseem, the Ahmady guy. She takes a brave step and conduct a paper marriage with her neighbor Salar Sikandar, whom she hates very much, and escapes from Islamabad to Lahore in night time. Due to some accident in Lahore Salar feels hater for her.
She contacts a student from her medical college, who had promised her to get merry with her and informs him about her situation and the guy refuses when his father does not agree with the marriage and the girl is left with worries.
The family of Umama thinks that Salar helped the girl escaped from home but Salar and he is safe because he did not left any clue about what happened that night.
Some days later the girl calls the boy and asks him to divorce her as they had decided that but the boy refuses to divorce her because he starts hating her.
Now, the story start about the boy how he went America to do MBA in Yale, how was hir life in America and how he falls in love with Umama Hashim and how his life changes. The boy memorizes Holy Qur’an in an Islamic center in America and he changes his life style and now he is totally changed man. A person who practices Islam.
Salar starts searching Umama Hashim in Pakistan, but she left no clue about her because she had fear of her strong family. The last pages of the book are just superb. One feels like he is watching all the scenes happening before him.
How Salar finds Umama Hashim and how they get merry?? Very interesting….
Umaira Ahmad discussed the issue of Khatm-e- Nubuwwah, which is the main difference between Muslims and Ahmadies. She threw some light on the Issue.
