Abul Hasan Ali Hasani Nadwi also spelt Abul Hasan Ali Hasani Nadvi (Urdu: ابوالحسن علی حسنی ندوی) (affectionately 'Ali Miyan') (Raebareli, India, 5 December 1913 - 31 December 1999) was a historian, Islamic scholar, and author of well over fifty books in various languages.
Maulana Syed Abul Hassan Ali Nadvi was very close to Allama Iqbal and met him many times. He has translated some of Iqbal's poetry into Arabic and written some books and articles on Iqbal. His books "Glory of Iqbal" in English, "Nuqoosh-e-Iqbal" in Urdu and "Rawa'ie Iqbal" in Arabic are considered to be among the key sources of Iqbaliyat.
An article on Iqbal by Sheikh Nadvi titled "Iqbal ki Shakhsiyyat kay Takhleeqi Anasir" [the creative factors of Iqbal's personality] teken from his book "Nuqoosh-e-Iqbal" is posted here. I am sure that you will like it and it will be up to your high standard.
